Item Адаптивний алгоритм керування рухом на регульованому Т-подібному перехресті(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Могила, Ігор; Дяк, Марія; Шварик, ІгорAdaptive algorithms for traffic control at signalized intersections are analyzed and it is shown that there is no universal algorithm which is simple in software and practical implementation. The algorithm for control at T-shaped signalized intersection is proposed. The algorithm extends green light if volume is high or switches on the next stage if it is the long queue at the conflict direction. It is determined based on simulating results of signalized intersection functioning in VISSIM software that proposed algorithm is more efficient in comparison with fixed-time control irrespective of distance between detectors at the intersection approach.Item Вплив змін динамічних характеристик транспортних засобів на значення коефіцієнтів зведення(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2015) Гілевич, Володимир; Могила, ІгорThere is proposed the new approach for determination of the passenger car equivalent (PCE) for the heterogeneous traffic flows, which considers dynamic behavior of different vehicles. Reduction of the starting acceleration of vehicles that take off on the green light at the stop-line is considered when computing PCE for signalized intersection. It was determined that population dynamics and assessment of the quality of life in the city are closely related to the relative volume of external mobility, and the population of the city does not correlate with this value.Item Застосування нечіткого алгоритму керування рухом на регульованому перехресті(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2011) Могила, Ігор; Бойко, МаксимУ роботі описано нечіткий алгоритм керування рухом на регульованому перехресті, керуючим рішенням якого є встановлення тривалості дозвільного сигналу в момент його ввімкнення. Встановлено, що застосування цього алгоритму є доцільним, оскільки дає змогу покращити якість та ефективність роботи перехрестя. Traffic lights are basic means of traffic control in cities. It is necessary to adjust function parameters of traffic lights depending on vehicle movement for efficient traffic control. So, improvement of existing or development of new algorithms for traffic control at signalized intersections is an urgent target. Control algorithm is a set of single-valued rules for processing data about traffic flow parameters at intersection, resulting in one or another control action [1]. Recently the algorithms with fuzzy logic have been applied in traffic control systems [2, 3]. The authors have improved fuzzy algorithm for traffic control, features of which are given in [4]. The determination of green light duration is the control action in this algorithm. Input linguistic variables are volume of arrival flow and queue length at some approach. Fuzzy control algorithm is implemented in MATLAB using Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. The model of signalized intersection Levytskoho str. – Tershakovtsiv str. – Dorosha str. (Lviv), developed in MATLAB, was chosen for research of intersection functioning with fuzzy control algorithm. Description of this model is given in [5]. Functioning of control system in which fuzzy algorithm is used (fuzzy control system) has been compared with functioning of fixed-time control systems: existing and calculated for given arrival flow volume. It was defined that the usage of fixed-time control system, calculated for given traffic conditions, will be the best, if arrival flow volume is invariable. But if the volume has an abrupt increase (even short-term) the usage of fixed-time control will not be reasonable as long as the value of the average and maximum queues has a sharp growth. However, fuzzy system adapts to traffic conditions at intersection well, and with a slight growth of queues at one approach smaller queues can be reached at other approaches.Item Особливості застосування мурашиних алгоритмів для розв’язування задачі комівояжера(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Могила, Ігор; Лобач, ІринаIt is chosen the ant colony algorithm among up-to-date metaheuristic methods for solving the traveling salesman problem, which simulates ant behavior during food search. Main steps of the ant colony algorithm are considered, it is implemented in MATLAB. It is determined that values of input parameters and presence of elite ants impact the efficiency of its functioning. It is determined number of iteration, necessary for finding the optimal solution for networks with different sizes.Item Оцінювання впливу температури гальм на довжину гальмівного шляху(КІНПАТРІ ЛТД, 2013) Форнальчик, Євген; Могила, ІгорThe temperature conditions of functioning of brake gear of buses which work on urban public transport routes are analyzed. Investigation of the braking distance for the occupied bus with cold and hot brakes was carried out based on ground test. It is determined that braking distance during emergency braking is longer for hot brakes by 15-28% depending on speed. Gotten results can be used for carrying out of road accident examinations.Item Оцінювання довжини черги перед стоп-лінією за інформацією з точкових детекторів транспорту(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2015) Могила, Ігор; Шварик, ІгорThere is proposed to use occupation of the part of network for the estimation of the queue length. Thre is shown that general occupation, which is recorded by detector, is a sum of movement occupation and queue occupation. The dependences between the occupation and the queue length before stop-line is established by the results of simulation.
