Item Peculiar features of magnetic and resistive transitions in partially crystallized La0.84Na0.16MnO3 films(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Pan’kiv, L.; Tsmots, V.; Pan’kiv, I.; Tovstolytkin, A.; Matviyenko, A.The present work aims to study magnetic, electric, magnetoresistance and resonance properties of partially crystallized La0.84Na0.16MnO3 thin films. Peculiar behavior resulting from the wide-range coexistence of highly conductive ferromagnetic and weakly conductive paramagnetic phases has been analyzed. Based on the results of magnetic measurements and theoretical calculations, the dependence of the volume fraction of ferromagnetic phase, VFM, on temperature is calculated. The VFM values whereby electric resistance and magnetoresistance display maxima are determined.Item Thickness-dependent magnetotransport properties of La0.6Sr0.2Mn1.2O3 films on SrTiO3 and LaAlO3 substrates(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Tovstolytkin, A.; Polek, T.; Matviyenko, A.; Zakharenko, M.; Semen’ko, M.; Pashchenko, A.Electric and magnetoresistive properties of La0.6Sr0.2Mn1.2O3 films deposited on SrTiO3 (001) and LaAlO3 (001) single crystalline substrates by magnetron sputtering have been studied. Characteristic features of the evolution of resistivity, magnetoresistance and Curie temperature upon the decrease of film thickness from 500 to 12.5 nm are specified. A key role of a thin strained layer adjacent to the substrate is demonstrated. The critical thicknesses of the strained layer are calculated for the films deposited on different substrates.
