Item Application of diakoptics approach to analysis of electromagnetic field bymeans of finite-difference method(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Howykowycz, Mariya; Stakhiv, PetroThe paper discusses versatile constraint equations used for providing compatibility between the solutions obtained for separate sub-domains of electromagnetic field which are analyzed simultaneously. The mathematical model of the task has been developed using invariant approximation technique for finitedifference method. Different techniques for domain decomposition are considered. The discussed constraint equations and domain decomposition techniques have been applied to solving a test problem, and namely the problem of magnetic skin-effect. On the basis of obtained computational results some recommendations regarding the scope of overlapping and applicability of different constraint equations have been formulated. Запропоновано різноманітні рівняння зв’язку для узгодження розв’язків, отриманих для окремих підобластей електромагнетного, розрахунок яких здійснюється паралельно. Математичну модель такої задачі отримано на підставі теорії інваріантних наближень із застосуванням методу скінченних різниць. Розглянуто різні методики розбиття області розрахунку поля на підобласті паралельного розрахунку. Застосування запропонованих рівнянь зв’язку і методик розбиття показано на тестовій задачі магнетного поверхневого ефекту. На підставі отриманих числових результатів висловлено рекомендації щодо обсягу взаємного перекриття підобластей та конкретного застосування рівнянь зв’язку.Item Application of the frequency symbolic method for analysis of linear periodically-time-variable circuits in the time domain(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Shapovalov, Yuriy; Mandziy, Bohdan; Bachyk, Dariya; Turyk, MarianThis paper focuses on the problem of using the symbolic frequencymethod for the determining the time dependency of output signals of linear periodically-timevariable circuits by applying the inverse Fourier transform (for a steady-state mode) or the Laplace transform (for a transition mode) to the images of these signals obtained using the transfer functions. The frequency symbolic method allows us to calculate the conjugate parametric transfer functions of linear periodically-time-variable circuits. Such transfer functions link the input signals with the output signals in the form of approximating polynomials of Fourier in trigonometric or complex form. By the same polynomials of Fourier are approximated the normal parametric transfer functions which are the basis of assessment of the asymptotic stability of the circuit. To determine the conjugate and normal parametric transfer functions, there are the appropriate functions in the system of software functions Multivariate Analysis and Optimization of the Parametric Circuits (MAOPC), The system of software functions MAOPCs based on the frequency symbolic method and is implemented in the environment of MATLAB software. The paper presents the results of computational experiments obtained by the system of software functions MAOPCs which show the adequacy of the definition of steady-state and transient modes of linear periodically-time-variable circuits in the time domain using the transfer functions determined by frequency symbolic method. The coincidence of the results obtained by the system of software functions MAOPCs and the Micro-Cap7.0 program demonstrates the adequacy of applying the inverse Fourier and Laplace transforms for the investigations of linear periodically-time-variable circuits in the steady and transient modes in the MAOPCs environment. З’ясовано проблему застосування частотного символьного методу до визначення часових залежностей вихідних сигналів лінійних параметричних кіл на підставі застосування оберненого перетворення Фур’є (для усталеного режиму) чи Лапласа (для перехідного режиму) до зображення цих сигналів отриманих з використанням передавальних функцій. Частотний символьний метод дає можливість обчислювати спряжені параметричні передавальні функції лінійних параметричних кіл, що зв’язують вхідні сигнали з вихідними у вигляді апроксимуючих поліномів Фур’є у тригонометричній чи комплексній формі. Такими ж поліномами Фур’є апроксимуються нормальні параметричні передавальні функції, які є основою оцінювання асимптотичної стійкості кола. Для визначення спряжених та нормальних передавальних функцій ми використовуємо систему програмних функцій MAOPCs (Multivariate Analysis and Optimization of the Parametric Circuits), передбачено відповідні програмні функції. Система програмних функцій MAOPCs основана на частотному символьному методі. У роботі наведено результати обчислювальних експериментів, отриманих за системою програмних функцій MAOPCs, що показують адекватність визначення усталених та перехідних режимів лінійних параметричних кіл у часовій області за допомогою спряжених передавальних функцій, визначених за частотним символьним методом. Збіг результатів, отриманих за допомогою системи програмних функцій MAOPCs та за програмою Micro-Cap7.0, свідчить про адекватність застосування оберненого перетворення Фур’є та Лапласа для дослідження лінійних параметричних кіл в усталеному та перехідному режимах у середовищіMAOPCs.Item Energy of motion(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Tchaban, VasylIt is shown that motion is accompanied by energy and co-energy, which are inseparable. In a linear media they are equal and can replace each other. In a nonlinear media they are different, and each of them executes its own functions. Universal expression for coenergy of the physical system is offered. The concept of kinetic energy in variation principles does not fit. Examples refer to the electromagnetic field and relativistic theory of gravitation. The paradox of transversal and longitudinal relativistic masses is refuted. Показано, що рух супроводжується енергією і коенергією, які невіддільні одна від одної. У лінійному середовищі вони дорівнюють одна одній, тому заступають одна одну. У нелінійному середовищі вони різні, і кожна з них виконує свої функції. Запропоновано універсальний вираз коенергії фізичної системи. Поняття кінетичної енергії у варіаційні принципи не вписується. Приклади стосуються електромагнетного поля і релятивістської теорії гравітації. Спростовано парадокс поперечної і поздовжньої релятивістських мас.Item Low temperature performances of doped gasbwhiskers(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Druzhynin, Anatoliy; Ostrovskyi, Ihor; Khoverko, Yuriy; Khytruk, Іhor; Liakh-Kaguy, NataliaTemperature dependencies of n-type GaSb whisker resistance are measured in the temperature range of 1,5–300 K and in the magnetic field up to 14 T. The peculiarities of whisker resistance in the low temperature range (a sharp drop in the whisker resistance at about 4,2 K) are observed. Superconductivity in the whiskers is caused by the appearance of weak antilocalization, which leads to the emergence of negative magnetoresistance. The magnetoconductivity of these whiskers in the low field regime turns out to be well described by a two-dimensional (2D) weak antilocalization (WAL) model. Проведено вимірювання температурних залежностей опору ниткоподібних кристалів (НК) GaSb n-типу в темпе- ратурному діапазоні 1,5–300 К та магнітному полі до 14 Тл. Спостерігалось різке (стрибкоподібне) падіння опору в НК за температури 4,2 К. Можливою причиною появи надпровідного стану в ниткоподібних мікрокристалах може бути виникнення слабкої анти локалізації та відповідно негативного магнето-опору. Встановлено, що магнетоопір досліджуваних НК можна описати двовимірною моделлю слабкої антилокалізації в магнітному полі.Item Mathematical model of a synchronous machine based on the method of average voltages on an integration step(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Plachtyna, Omeljan; Kutsyk, AndriyThe mathematical model of a synchronous machine developed by means of the authors' method of average voltages on an integration step is described. This model is formed in phase coordinates and takes into consideration non-linearity ofa magnetization characteristic. The features of the mathematical model developed are high calculation performance and numerical stability that enables the developed model to be used for real-time modeling of complicated electrical power systems. The described mathematical model has been used as a part of the realtime mathematical model of the electric power generation system of South-Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant. The computer simulation results are presented. Описано математичну модель неявнополюсної синхронної машини, створену з використанням авторського методу середніх напруг на кроці чисельного інтегрування. Математичну модель створено у фазних координатах з урахуванням нелінійності характеристики намагнічування. Особливістю цієї моделі є її висока швидкодія та числова стійкість, що дає змогу використовувати її для математичного моделювання в реальному часі складних електротехнічних систем.Item Model investigations of the impact of overheated air termination conductors on flammable roofings(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Strużewski, PiotrThe article concerns laboratory tests simulating practical situations in which roofings considered as flammable are hazarded by the increase of temperature of the air termination conductors after lightning discharges. The main part of the paper deals with motivation for undertaking tests, determination of assumptions for their execution, characteristics of testing system and presentation of results obtained by the author. The article is summarized with conclusions drawn from the above mentioned results. Розглянуто лабораторні дослідження, що моделюють реальні ситуації, коли покрівлі, виготовлені із займистих матеріалів піддаються загрозі внаслідок підвищення температури у повітряному каналі, створеному під час розряду блискавки. У головній частині статті описано проведені досліди, визначено допущення під час їхнього проведення, характеристики лабораторної устави та аналіз результатів, які отримав автор. Подано висновки, отримані на підставі проведених дослідів.Item Peculiarities of designing brushless direct current motors for lightweight means of transport(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Tkachuk, Vasyl; Bilyakovskyy, Ihor; Kasha, Lidiya; Khay, MykhayloIn the article, the problem of improving the technique for the calculation of the geometry of a brushless direct current motor with U-shaped stator for lightweight means of transport and obtaining, at the project phase, relevant relations for its major quantitive characteristics is posed. The peculiarities of analysis of such motors, which are the fundamental part of the mathematical model for design calculation of the motor geometry, are discussed in the article. As a result, the technique for preliminary determination of the stator inner bore diameter of such a motor with permanent magnets on the rotor is proposed. The relation for calculating optimal geometry of the tooth-slot zone, which is based on the determining the optimal dimensions of the stator lamination sheet and depends on the chosen criteria, is obtained. The equation (13) enables the calculation of the dimensions of the stator lamination sheet at different limitations, for example, if it is necessary to ensure a given relative copper resistance. Applying the equation (13), it is possible to determine values of relative flux densities cz and cs in the teeth and in the frame yoke according to given constructional factors and check the observance of the condition Bz < Bmax. Розглянуто проблему вдосконалення методики розрахунку основних геометричних розмірів безконтактних двигунів постійного струму з постійними магнітами та U-подібним статором для легковагових транспортних засобів і отримання відповідних співвідношень для основних його показників на етапі проектування. Наведено особливості розрахунку таких двигунів, які покладено в основу математичної моделі проектного розрахунку їхніх основних геометричних розмірів. У результаті запропоновано методику попереднього визначення внутрішнього діаметра розточки статора вентильного двигуна з постійними магнітами на роторі. Отримано співвідношення для розрахунку оптимальних, з погляду вибраних критеріїв, геометричних співвідношень між елементами зубцево-пазової зони, що основується на визначенні оптимальних розмірів штампованого листа статора. Рівняння (13) дає можливість розв’язувати задачі визначення розмірів штампованого листа статора за різних обмежень (зокрема, в разі необхідності отримати певний відносний активний опір обмотки) і за заданими конструкційними коефіцієнтами визначати відносні індукції cz та cs в зубцях і в спинці статора та перевіряти виконання умови Bz < Bmax.Item Research into ambiguity function of narrow-band, multi-band and ultra-wideband radiometric complexes with multi-antenna systems(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Nguyen Van, Kiem; Pavlikov, Vladimir; Tymoshchuk, OlenaAn optimal algorithm for radiometric imaging with high spatial resolution is obtained. An analytical expression for the ambiguity function (AF) of narrow-band, multi-band and ultra-wideband (UWB) radiometric complexes with multi-antenna systems is derived. The impact of the antennas geometry, antennas number, as well as the narrow-band, multi-band and UWB predetection section on spatial resolution is investigated. It is shown that using multi-antenna systems with multi-band and UWB signal processing contributes to the formation of AF with one main lobe. Отримано оптимальний алгоритм для формування радіометричних зображень з високим просторовим розрізненням. Виведено аналітичний вираз для функції невизначеності (ФН) вузькосмугових, багатосмугових і надшироко- смугових (НШС) радіометричних комплексів з багатоантенними системами. Досліджено залежність геометрії розташування антен, кількість антен і використання вузькосмугового, багатосмугового і НШС вхідних трактів на вигляд ФН. Показано, що використання багатоантенних систем з обробкою НШС і багатосмугових сигналів дає змогу сформувати ФН з однією головною пелюсткою.Item Synthesis of automatic control systems by using binomialand Butterworth standard fractional order forms(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Marushchak, Yaroslav; Kopchak, BohdanThe article deals with the application of binomial and Butterworth standard fractional order forms in the synthesis of control systems. This work aims at improving the method for the synthesis of fractional controllers for the systems of any structure, on condition of applying desired standard fractional order forms. Due to the usage of standard fractional forms, a range of possible settings for fractional order controllers in the synthesis of control system loops has been expanded and the better desired quality of transition processes in comparison with the integer order controllers has been provided. It has been proved that given the obtained research results for establishing the control system loops,, Butterworth standard fractional forms with q = 0,9 ÷ 1,3, as well as the binomial ones with q = 0,1 ÷ 2 can be recommended to apply since they meet the requirements of control objects. Some of the obtained results that can be recommended for practical use when configuring control systems are presented below. In terms of the research conducted, a maximum deviation between the simulation results and the desired ones does not exceed 1%. Thus, due to the proposed approach, the efficiency of the synthesized systems has been increased. Розглянуто застосування стандартних дробових біномінальних форм та форм Баттерворта під час синтезу систем керування. Метою цієї роботи є удосконалення методу синтезу дробових регуляторів довільної структури, за умови забезпечення бажаних стандартних форм дробового порядку. У зв’язку з використанням дробових стандартних форм розширено гамму можливих налаштувань дробових регуляторів під час синтезу контурів ЕМС та забезпечено кращу якість перехідних процесів порівняно з регуляторами цілого порядку. Доведено, що на основі отриманих результатів досліджень для налагодження контурів ЕМС можна рекомендувати дробові стандартні форми: Батерворта за q = 0,9–1,3 і біноміальні за q = 0,1–2, як такі, що задовольняють вимоги об’єктів керування. Наведено деякі з отриманих результатів, які можна рекомендувати для практичного використання під час налаштування систем керування. З огляду на проведене дослідження, максимальне відхилення між результатами, отриманими через моделювання і бажаними не перевищує 1 %.
