Self-organising map as a tool of modelling the design parameters of microelectronics devices for ensuring the specified temperature condition

Using Kohonen maps the analysis and visualisation of thermal management task for flip-chip microelectronic devices have been carried out. The advantages of neural networks techniques over most common ones are demonstrated. The technique is very promising for making a prediction of device parameters for ensuring the specified temperature conditions.
Instrumental computer system for distance learning

The structure of the system for the study of notions and terms of subject domain with an unclear structure is considered, in particular, the structure of data-base system. The proposed system allows to create new educational courses regardless of subject domain, to automatize teaching of users after these courses, to carry out diagnostics of knowledge and manage teaching. The system provides the possibility of the independent study of notions and terms of a several disciplines, the support of the simultaneous teaching of a several users, the verification of rightness of pupil’s answers of pupil on a template, the addition of new educational courses without modification of the code of the program, the use of the editor of educational courses.
A natural classification as a systemological method for knowledge modelling

The main purpose of the given work is the application of systemological classification analysis method and natural classification criteria for conceptual knowledge acquisition, ontologies and knowledge bases creation. Method based on natural classification helps to investigate deep semantic regularities of subject domain and to take proper account of system-classes essential properties the most objectively. It allows receiving the forecasting parametrical classifications and effective ontologies in different ill-structured problem domains, knowledge management, organizational modelling for companies’ sustainable development and competitive advantages providing.
Foreign language blended learning at higher schools in Ukraine

The report deals with five Ukrainian higher schools experience in application of blended learning form foreign languages instruction that could be used at other home and foreign higher educational institutions. There the advantages and disadvantages, general reasons of blended learning application instead of distance one are described and the peculiarities of their own experience are reported and demonstrated by each author.

The paper considers content management in web portals, which are built on heterogeneous enterprise information systems (IS). A huge data bulk is accumulated by the enterprises, and it tends to increase further. Global distribution of the heterogeneous data and its weak-structured character complicate its uniform management. A problem-oriented approach for enterprise content management is presented, which includes a formal model and a software development toolkit. Implementation results demonstrate significant terms and cost reduction.

Algorithms of the corporate information system’s protection analyses

The tasks and methods of protection corporate information systems audit are considered. Ways of improving comprehension through discourse processing for applied linguistics students

The field of discourse processing offers some solutions to the challenge of promoting deep comprehension during learning. The present article sketches the basic components of discourse processing mechanisms, such as constructing explanations, asking deep-reasoning questions, tutoring, and subsequently points out how such mechanisms can be recruited to improve deep comprehension of the study material. The practical mission is viewed as designing of software (both the programming and the linguistic parts), modeling the pointed out mechanisms, which is suggested to become a part of the student-teacher research work carried out in the field of Applied Linguistics.

Content-analysis system for advertising specialisms texts

Methods of the phonosemantic analysis of texts and the analysis of texts on the basis of allocated linguistic categories are considered. The phonosemantic analysis assesses emotional tone of the text on the basis of sound-color associations. The method of the so-called semantic differential uses 6 scales submitted by pairs Russian antonymous adjectives for the estimation of tonal tinge. The analysis and comparison of two assigned subjects texts is carried out on the basis of allocated linguistic categories.
Minimization of amplitude distortions for time-scale compression of speech signals

The algorithm of time-scale compression of speech signal, based on temporal reconstruction with the help of functions of temporal transforming, has been improved. Existing is signal amplitude distortions are reduced by the use of cross-correlation function and creating of intermediate composite segment.
