3D seismic velocity models distribution for complete complex of processing and interpretation of seismic data in Dnieper-Donets Basin

VSP data processing workflow for determining of velocity model is being reviewed in the paper, which can be used for processing of seismic data. Optimal graph of seismic data processing is proposed. The graph contains all the optimal procedures, which allows obtaining seismic images of high quality. Seismic images, obtained after processing, were used for seismic interpretation, which helped to specify geological structure of the prospects in the cutoff part of the Dnieper-Donets Basin.

Analysis of robust stability of electromechanical systems, described by fractional order transfer function

The majority of electromechanical systems are characterized by parametric uncertainty. This paper develops the approach to determine the stability of control object, which is an important step in the selection process of fractional controller parameters during its robust synthesis of desired quality of the transition process. The research of transfer functions of electromechanical systems on the stability of fractional order differs from traditional systems. The method of approach to the definition of stability suitable for stability analysis of electromechanical systems, described by transfer functions of both fractional and integer order, has been examined. Informative parameter for quality control and stability of electromechanical systems has been established, which allows to obtain information about the stability, oscillation and the quality of the transition process of an output coordinate of electromechanical system in the first approximation.
Analysis of the process of obtaining methyl esters of fatty acids from waste vegetable oils

The technological features of the process of obtaining the methyl esters of carboxylic acids from renewable materials were analyzed. The results showed that the waste vegetable oil can be used as raw material for biofuels production. However, to increase product yield and its quality technological scheme of obtaining the product correction is needed.
Analysis of the traffic`s flow distribution by the types of drivers’ temperament

This paper shows the results of the survey of determining the ratio of drivers by types of temperament in the transport flow that are necessary for further studies of driver’s psychophysiology. Actuality of this issue consists in the necessity to take account of the driver’s type of temperament as the main road traffic participants, which is one of the key factors of any behavior in difficult traffic situations.
Application of basic tools of experimental economy in management science

In the times of rapid economic transformations taking place in the world markets, it is becoming more and more difficult to predict economic trends as well as people’s behaviour. In order to do so, it is more common nowadays to adopt unorthodox approach apart from using traditional methods. Undoubtedly, experimental economy is a good example of such kind of approach. The basic tool used in experimental economy is an experiment and it will be the main subject of this study. In its first part, this article explains fundamental concepts and the essence of experimental theory basing on available literary resources. The second part presents lots of specific examples showing how to use experiments both in human resources management and quality management.
Attitude towards psychological knowledge in Ukrainian society

There are a lot of problems in Ukrainian science. Old fashioned educational programs and students who are not interested in personal growth and professional development are some of them. We believe that all these results in misunderstanding and mistrust to the psychological science in Ukraine. People of different age might use psychological knowledge in everyday life more often – in case of solving personal difficulties problems or for improving quality of life. The results of empirical study of use of psychological knowledge among ordinary people are presented.
Automation of prototyping the pattern tests from an electronic compendium of lectures

The main goal of this work is to create the algorithmic core for the system of prototyping the pattern tests from the electronic collection of lectures. Basic similar software products are reviewed to prove the appropriateness of further development. The structure and format of input and output program files are explained. Principles of program operation and internal data representation are clarified. Information, linguistic and program supports have been evolved within the frameworks of the system realization.
Automatization design of the user interface based on the knowledge that describes ontology

The paper describes some approaches to UI design automation based on the knowledge that describes ontology domain. Tools interface development based on ontologies software, based on the principle of separation of designing and implementing the user interface and business applications and their subsequent binding and automatic code generation interface for its model. To develop the proposed ontology, in terms of which UI developers form the corresponding components of his model; generation interface is more programming languages on different platforms; supports both local and network interaction with business applications; Model interface is divided into components according to groups of professionals engaged in its development (subject area experts, programmers, designers) and contains all the information necessary for its development and automatic generation according to the model.
Basic principles of low-rise residential floating buildings design

Floating building is a complex engineering structure, which combines functional features of typical homes and vessels. Currently there are many realized projects of buildings on the water, represented by different objects such as restaurants, hotels, cottage, etc. Following research aims to develop design procedure for low-rise residential floating buildings taking into account exploitation peculiarities. Results. The method of technical parameters of low-rise floating dwelling houses calculation, considering the demands of Ship register of Ukraine and current building codes have been proposed. Using 3D finite elements model of representative floating house, data about stress-strain state of floating building elements was obtained.
Bearing capacity of steel plate anchor in cellular concrete block masonry. Research aims, programme and methodology

The current article is devoted to the start of new topic of wide scientific researches of cellular concrete structural properties and its application in civil engineering held in Lviv Polytechnic National University. Nowadays we are focused at problem of estimation of bearing capacity of plate steel anchor applied in aerated concrete thin-bed blockwork. Aim, research tasks and programme of experiment is presented.
Behavior of systemically important banks on the financial market

This paper investigates costs and benefits associated with systemic size of the bank for different stakeholders’ interests. Author of the research studying the behavior of systemically important banks on the financial market of Ukraine, firstly, identifies systemically important banks (first stage), secondly, analyzes behavior characteristics of these banks to find their specific features (second stage).
Blood cells classification by image color and intensity features clustering

A new approach for cells detection and classification on blood smear images is considered. Benefit of 4-connected over 8-connected component labeling for cell detection is shown. Color and intensity histogram clustering are proposed to extract common features for cells classification. A new approach for k-means initial centroids detection proposed. The algorithms effectiveness was tested and estimated for some blood smear images. The algorithm examples, figures and result table to illustrate the approach are presented.
Boris Loutzky – the founder of Ukrainian aircraft engine-building

This paper analyses a great contribution of Boris Loutzky to the development of Ukranian aircraft enginebuilding. It was proved that Loutzky was at the origins of domestic aircraft engine-building. He was both a teacher and a mentor for many domestic engine and aircraft designers.
CFD-modeling of gas combustion process in the industrial cyclonecalciner furnace

The computer model that enables to investigate the work of cyclone-calciner furnace for the heating up regime has been developed. Simulation carried out in ANSYS FLUENT 15.0. The temperature field and species concentration were obtained. The work results provide important data to further study the efficiency of the limestone thermal decomposition chemical reactions and optimizing furnace design and operation modes.
Characteristics of spray drying process of nanocolloidal silica as a method of production of nanostructural powders potentially applicable in inhalation therapy

The research was focused on investigations of the impact of spray-drying (SD) conditions on the morphology and aerosol performance of powders produced from nanocolloidal silica. Microsized nanostructiral particles were characterized by SEM, aerosol spectrometry and pharmaceutical impactor. Results show that proper adjusting of SD process parameters and precursor composition allows to obtain powders of different morphologies: solid or hollow particles with different wall thickness, or particles with a microporous structure with spherical or nonspherical shape. Obtained results indicate that silica nanoagreggates have characteristics suitable for their effective delivery to the lungs via inhalation.
City’s parameters influence on transportation servicing of goods

Production delivery in the consumption sphere is one of the important trade functions that take place in the commercial companies. Rational management is important in goods distribution processes. Logistics tools are affecting on distribution channel delivery mechanism choice for different regions. The sales channels choice is one of the key decisions for the company. The traditional concept of management is not excusing itself. Logistics activities of transportation servicing for various cities in the current market conditions, research not enough. Paper is aimed to improving existing models and approaches to urban transportation servicing of goods carriage.
