У збірнику подані розширені тези доповідей Міжнародної наукової конференції "Оксидні матеріали електронної техніки - отримання, властивості, застосування" (OMEE-2012). Конференція присвячена актуальним проблемам технології отримання та дослідження структурних , оптичних, магнітних та електрофізичних властивостей оксидних матеріалів, а також можливості їх практичного застосування у пристроях електронної техніки та розроблення нових функціональних пристроїв на їх основі. Для наковців та аспірантів, які працюють в галузі фізики оксидних матеріалів.

Item On nucleation and growth mechanisms of EBPVD zirconia films on porous NiO-ZrO2 substrate(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Vasylyev, O.; Brychevskyi, M.; Brodnikovskyi, I.; Dubykivskyi, L.; Andrzejczuk, M.; Spychalski, M.; Lewandowska, M.; Kurzydłowski, K.; Steinberger-Wilckens, R.; Mertens, J.; Malzbender, J.Thin structure of the anode-electrolyte interface (AEI) was studied, and plausible nucleation and growth mechanisms at electron-beam physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) were established. ZrO2 condensates with two mechanisms – planar and cellular ones like it happens at solidification from liquid phase. ZrO2 condensation on ZrO2 and NiO phases occurs with two different routes. On ZrO2 phase, layer of planar growth is formed with "defective layer by defective layer" mechanism. On NiO, the layer is cellular from the very beginning of the deposition process. The layer of planar growth is formed as "dense layer by dense layer". Deposition affected zone (DAZ) is clearly distinguished.Item Investigation of calcium molybdate using thermoactivation methods(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Tsybulskyi, V. B.The single crystals of calcium molybdate were investigated in the temperature range of 100-320 K using thermoluminescence (TSL), thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) and polarization (TSP1, TSP2) methods. One of the TSL trap was found to disappear after high-temperature annealing of calcium molybdate single crystals. The investigations were carried out on bulk samples of lanthanum doped lead zirconate titanate (PLZT) with compositions around the morphotropic phase boundary and also on a bismuth sodium titanate based system (BNTBT-KNN). In two compositions of the system BNT-BT-KNN, the large field induced macroscopic strain could be explained by a phase transformation during the poling process. PLZT samples were investigated under various orientations of the electric field to examine domain switching and strain effects.Item New method for piezooptic coefficients measurements based on four-point bending(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Krupych, O.; Savaryn, V.; Skab, I.; Vlokh, R.A new technique is suggested for determination of piezooptic coefficients, which represents a combination of digital imaging laser interferometry and a canonical fourpoint bending method. The design of interferometer, measurement procedures, and data processing are described in detail. Potentials of the present technique are tested on the example of widely used optical borosilicate glass BK7. High enough precision, together with unambiguity in determination of the sign of both piezooptic (pqm) and photoelastic (pqm) coefficients, allow us to claim it to be one of the most accurate and reliable techniques for the measurements of pqm and pqm parameters.Item Effect of gamma irradiation on the dielectric properties of the TlGaS2 single crystal(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Mustafaeva, S. N.; Asadov, M. M.; Ismaіlov, A. A.The real (ε') and imaginary (ε'') parts of complex dielectric permittivity and ac-conductivity (sаc) across the layers of TlGaS2 single crystal have been measured in the frequency range f = 5 × 104 – 3.5 × 107 Hz before and after gamma irradiation with doses Dg from 5 ´ 104 to 2.15 ´ 106 rad. It was shown that the accumulation of radiation dose in TlGaS2 single crystal leads to tangible increase in ε'' and to increase of ε'' dispersion. The main parameters of localized states in TlGaS2 single crystal before and after gamma irradiation were evaluated from high- frequency dielectric measurements.Item Fatigue processes in commercial LiCoO2 batteries: in situ neutron diffraction and electrochemical study(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Dolotko, O.; Senyshyn, A.; Mühlbauer, M. J.; Nikolowski, K.; Ehrenberg, H.In situ high-resolution neutron powder diffraction along with electrochemical analysis was used to study fatigue processes in commercial LiCoO2 (18650-type) batteries. The electrochemical and structural behavior of cathode and anode materials in fully charged and discharged states has been studied for cells exhibiting different cycling at 25°C and 50°C. High-resolution neutron powder diffraction leads us to observe simultaneous changes in LiCoO2 cathode and graphitic anode, which are related to lithium de-/intercalation processes during the battery operation. Detailed features of the battery organization and details of its evolution on a micrometer scale have been visualized using neutron radiography and tomography.Item Phase formation in the flux systems K2O-P2O5-Fe2O3-MIIO-MoO3(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Yatskin, M. M.; Zatovsky, I. V.; Strutynska, N. Yu.; Baumer, V. N.; Slobodyanik, N. S.KMg0.09Fe1.91(PO4)2 is isotypic with KMIIFe(PO4)2 (MII – Fe, Cu) (monoclinic system, space group P 21/n). The framework is built up from [FeO5] and [Fe(Mg)O6] polyhedra sharing vertices, edges and connected by two types of bridging PO4 tetrahedra. The K atoms are nine-coordinated and are located in hexagonal channels running along the direction of c-axis.Item 93Nb NMR investigation and computer simulation of the Mg Ion localization in LiNbO3(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Yevdokimov, S. M.The angular dependences of the linewidth of the 93Nb NMR spectrum central transition is experimentally investigated for the LiNbO3 crystal with congruent composition and for the samples with two various Mg concentrations. Due to the computer simulation of the NMR spectra according some scenario of Mg incorporation in the LNbO3 structure, it has been concluded that the defect complexes ( Li 2 MgL+i + V ) with the Li vacancies are realized when the Mg concentration is less then threshold.Item Structural and magnetic characterization of functional surface coated maghemite nanoparticles(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Demchenko, P.; Mitina, N.; Zaichenko, A.; Nedelko, N.; Lewińska, S.; Ślawska-Waniewska, A.; Dłużewski, P.; Bilska, M.; Ubizskii, S.Nanoparticles composed of magnetic γ-Fe2O3 core and organic shell were synthesized via template synthesis in the presence of functional oligoperoxide surfactants and further graft-polymerization initiated from their surface. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and magnetic measurements (PPMS) were used to characterize the obtained magnetic system of core-shell nanoparticles. XRD results confirm the existence of γ-Fe2O3 phase as well as show an average diameter of nanoparticles around 10 nm. The obtained particles are superparamagnetic at the room temperature. Magnetic measurements indicate also sufficiently strong dipolar interparticle interactions at low temperatures.Item Optical and electrical properties of ZnO thin films grown by sol-gel method(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Bała, W.; Zorenko, Yu.; Savchyn, V; Voznyak, T.; Paprocki, K.; Popielarski, P.; Szybowicz, M.The ZnO thin films have been produced on p-type Si by the dip-coating method and after deposition were heated at different temperatures in the range from 650K to 850K. The photoluminescence (PL) and cathodoluminescence (CL) measurements were carried out at temperature range 12K-350K. I-V, C-V, Q-DLTS measurements were performed on the Al/ZnO/Si/Al structures at different temperatures. The electrical response of grains, grain boundaries, and contacts of the ZnO film was obtained.Item High temperature structure and properties of lithium niobate(Національний університет "Львівська політехніка", 2012) Boysen, H.; Senyshyn, A.; Sugak, D. Yu.High temperature neutron powder diffraction experiments were carried for a thorough detailed study of the structural evolution and phase transition of lithium niobate. Already at low temperatures part of the Li ions enter the hitherto assumed empty octahedra, their amount increasing with temperature. This explains anomalies in the thermal expansion. The phase transition from the ferroelectric to the paraelectric phase proceeds in two steps, complete disordering of Li before Nb reaches its centrosymmetric site within its octahedron. Li is further disordered within the oxygen plane pointing towards relatively strong Li-O bonds. The reduction of refractive index with the increase of UV irradiation dose was observed. All the results are discussed in view of applying these scintillating materials in cryogenic environment.Item Thermodynamical assessment of stability La2-xSrxCuO4−δ solid solutions(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Tiphlova, L. A.; Monayenkova, A. S.; Romanova, I. P.; Alyoshin, V. A.The solid solutions La2-xSrxCuO4−δ (0 ≤ x(Sr) ≤ 1.2) in La2CuO4 – Sr2CuO3 system were synthesized and characterized by x-ray diffraction and chemical analyses. The enthalpies of reaction La2−xSrxCuO4−δ with 1 N hydrochloric acid were measured in hermetic swinging isoperibolic calorimeter at 298.15 K. The Gibbs energies were assessed from thermochemical data. It was estimated that the solid solution is thermodynamically unstable at x(Sr) > 0.6.Item Recombination luminescence in LaPO4-Eu and LaPO4-Pr nanoparticles(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Vistovskyy, V.; Malyy, T.; Voloshinovskii, A.; Getkin, A.; Shapoval, O.; Zaichenko, A.; Mitina, N.The luminescence properties of LaPO4-Eu and LaPO4-Pr nanoparticles with various sizes (8–50 nm) are studied upon the excitation by VUV and X-ray quanta. The dependences of luminescence intensity on nanoparticle size for nanoparticles LaPO4-Pr and LaPO4-Eu possessing, respectively, by the electron and hole recombination luminescence at the excitation by quanta of various energies are discussed.Item TiO2-acrylate nanocomposites elaborated by UV-curing with tunable properties(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Burunkova, J. A.; Mazanov, K. B.; Bulgakova, V. G.; Denisyuk, I. Yu.; Szaloki, M.; Kokenyesi, S.Homogeneous TiO2–acrylate nanocomposite with low optical scattering were prepared by UV curing. The surface of the nanoparticles was modified by carbonic acids to control the aggregation between the nanoparticles. Effects of TiO2 content on the properties of nanocomposite (transmission, refractive index, mechanical properties, internal structure) were investigated. Depending on the composition of the matrix hard materials with high refractive index or light sensitive layers for holographic recording can be obtained. The first are interesting for medical applications, the last for photonics. For example, TiO2 nanocomposite was used for in situ fabrication of holographic gratings by interference lithography. Formation of the grating samples with high diffraction efficiency (20 %) is based on the light-stimulated mass-transport processes in the polymerized layer during the recording without any additional treatments. The relief formation has been investigated by AFM measurements too. These materials are designed for applications in integrated optics, elements of optics, in nanolithography.Item Point defects and diffusion in oxides(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Shi, J.; Becker, K. - D.Electronic and ionic defects are unavoidable elements of structural disorder in oxide materials resulting from nonstoichiometry or impurity/doping ions. Many point defects involving electrons or transition metal ions give rise to optical absorption, providing a probe to study defect chemistry and transport properties in these materials. We present the application of optical in-situ spectroscopy to the investigation of defects and defect-related processes at elevated temperatures in N-doped titania films and Lideficient lithium niobate.Item Sintering-modified oxymanganospinel ceramics for NTC thermistor application(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Hadzaman, I.; Klym, H.; Shpotyuk, O.; Brunner, M.; Balitska, V.Mixed Ni-Co-Cu oxymanganospinels of Cu0.1Ni0.8Co0.2Mn1.9O4 chemical composition are first developed for possible application as high-precise NTC thermistors using nanophase segregation effects controlled by sintering technological route. It is shown that rack-salt NiO phase in these ceramics occurs a decisive role on parasitic degradation caused by thermal storage of the ceramics at the elevated temperatures.
