The potential of port buildings and structures for further renovation under cultural – community centers

Modeling and analysis of processes in synchronous generator with PWM controlled excitation system

The mathematical model of synchronous generator with PWM contlolled excitation system has been developed by using mathematical modelling method. The research results of the transient and steady-state mode of generator voltage regulation are presented.
Numerical solution of parametric optimization of the resonant vibro-impact system with technological limitations

The purpose of research: development of method of optimization of the resonance vibro-impact system stiffness parameters with technological limitations of kinematic and dynamic characteristics. The synthesis is based on a numerical dynamic analysis which uses methods of tackling nonlinear differential system of equations. The discrete algorithm of choice-based optimization of synthesized coefficients of asymmetric lump linear stiffness characteristic with limitations imposed on technological parameters and system frequency characteristics is proposed. Optimal parameters of a vibroimpact machine are determined by the maximum of power criteria, which is the ratio of maximum acceleration of the working mass to the current value of the power consumption of a mechanical system.
Definition of equivalent roughness of internal surface of a measuring pipeline

Literature on the methods for defining the equivalent roughness of the internal surface of a measuring pipeline was analyzed. The equation for calculating the hydraulic resistance coefficient of friction of natural gas on the internal surface of the measuring pipeline was developed. The equation for calculating the equivalent roughness of the internal surface of the measuring pipeline was obtained. This equation provides improvement of accuracy of natural gas flow rate and volume measurement by means of the differential pressure method.
Simultaneous methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid obtaining over zirconium-containing catalysts

Methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid are widely used monomers. The aldol condensation of methyl propionate and formaldehyde is perspective process for simultaneous obtaining of this methacrylate monomers. It was found that zirconium-containing catalysts are active in this process. The effect of zirconium content in the catalyst on methyl propionate conversion and yield of methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid has been determined. The best catalyst for methyl propionate condensation with formaldehyde has been found.
Complex metaphor in the novel of Cecelia Ahern “Thanks for the Memories”

Control systems of permanent magnet synchronous machine as port-controlled hamiltonian system

One of the most perspective methods of control system design for permanent magnet synchronous motor as a part of electromechanical systems are energy-based approaches. The regulation in such systems is realized by forming energy function of the system. The energy-shaping control systems with present regulation elements provide worse response compare with classical systems and are hard to be configured. The main aims of this article are quick view of current energy-shaping control systems, overcoming disadvantages of them and popularization of energy-based approaches in general.
Modified multiplying matrix for Galois field GF(2m) multiplier structural complexity evaluation

Method of structural complexity estimation of modified multiplying matrix with ordered structure is proposed. The method is based on total length of connections inside multiplying matrix calculation. Matrix with ordered structure allows a partition to the same sub-matrix. One submatrix can be serially used for multiplication instead of one large unmodified matrix. Multiplier structural complexity can be reduced more than 100 times.

Determination of electrical conductivity of ion exchange resins

Effect of heat treatment on brewer's yeast fermentation activity

The influence of temperature treatment of brewer's yeast strain Saflager W-34/70 at temperatures of -17, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 °C on their fermentative activity was studied. It was established that the freezing of yeast leads to a decrease of fermentation activity in directly proportional to the duration way. Fermentative activity of yeast samples can be increased by 20-24% by heat treatment at 35 °C during 15-30 minutes.

The result of researches is the identifying of some points of the developing countries and of the countries with economical transformations.
Сonformity of energy efficiency measures in Ukraine with European requirements

Today the thermal insulation of residental buildings is being made apartment by apartment, sometimes without compliance the minimum of energy efficiency requirements. On the other hand, Ukraine is gradually moving to European standards. In this regard, a study of parameters compliance of the existing buildings and the most common work on the thermorenovation of buildings performed today in Ukraine with European standards on the example of the Romanian regulations was conducted. The study found that the existing building according to European documents have class F. After thermorenovation work it can achieve the label C or B, depending on the used materials.
Automation of prototyping the pattern tests from an electronic compendium of lectures

The main goal of this work is to create the algorithmic core for the system of prototyping the pattern tests from the electronic collection of lectures. Basic similar software products are reviewed to prove the appropriateness of further development. The structure and format of input and output program files are explained. Principles of program operation and internal data representation are clarified. Information, linguistic and program supports have been evolved within the frameworks of the system realization.
Structure and properties of diffusion boride layers on steels obtained at applying external magnetic field

Investigated the structure, phase composition, microhardness and wear resistance boride coatings obtained on carbon steels at complex saturation with boron and copper in various physical and chemical conditions, namely carrying satiation without application of an external magnetic field (EMF) and in its simultaneous imposition. Established that the application EMF on carbon steels formed a continuous, homogeneous boride layer, thickness is 2 times higher than the boriding without EMF. Formation diffuse boride layers under the action EMF improves tribological characteristics and leads to an increase in wear resistance of 2.2 – 2.6 times.
Analysis of the process of obtaining methyl esters of fatty acids from waste vegetable oils

The technological features of the process of obtaining the methyl esters of carboxylic acids from renewable materials were analyzed. The results showed that the waste vegetable oil can be used as raw material for biofuels production. However, to increase product yield and its quality technological scheme of obtaining the product correction is needed.
Characteristics of spray drying process of nanocolloidal silica as a method of production of nanostructural powders potentially applicable in inhalation therapy

The research was focused on investigations of the impact of spray-drying (SD) conditions on the morphology and aerosol performance of powders produced from nanocolloidal silica. Microsized nanostructiral particles were characterized by SEM, aerosol spectrometry and pharmaceutical impactor. Results show that proper adjusting of SD process parameters and precursor composition allows to obtain powders of different morphologies: solid or hollow particles with different wall thickness, or particles with a microporous structure with spherical or nonspherical shape. Obtained results indicate that silica nanoagreggates have characteristics suitable for their effective delivery to the lungs via inhalation.
Towards the abyss: the influence of parents’ alcoholism on the development in adolescence

The article presents a theoretical overview of the problem of deviations in adolescents who are determined by alcohol dependent parents. The behavior of alcohol dependent parents or one of them creates an atmosphere in the family, which inevitably creates resistant and mental sets in adolescents on the consumption of alcohol and updates the assimilation of norms and stereotypes of deviant behavior. The results of systematic use of alcohol that are manifested in the family, less visible to the public, but the nature and depth of its actions are the most dangerous and harmful. So, the most difficult consequences of alcohol dependence of parents for adolescents are the following: 1) the desire to consume alcohol; 2) increase in aggression and conflict, irresponsibility, which eventually can lead to antisocial behavior; 3) the emergence of vagrancy as a form of deviant behavior.
Attitude towards psychological knowledge in Ukrainian society

There are a lot of problems in Ukrainian science. Old fashioned educational programs and students who are not interested in personal growth and professional development are some of them. We believe that all these results in misunderstanding and mistrust to the psychological science in Ukraine. People of different age might use psychological knowledge in everyday life more often – in case of solving personal difficulties problems or for improving quality of life. The results of empirical study of use of psychological knowledge among ordinary people are presented.
Impact of the operating mode of neutral in 35 kV power grids on the arc overvoltages and voltage teasuring transformers

Has been analyzed possible methods of earthing of neutrals in 35 kV power grid. Among the most common injuries in these electrical system are arc circuits, that is why the dependence of overvoltage multiplicities on the nature of earth arcing and on the method of earth arrangement of electrical system neutral. Given that in 35 kV power grids may arise ferroresonant processes, operation of voltage measuring transformers has been researched during unstable earth arcing.
