В результаті проведеного дослідження встановлено, що перехід України та інших країн світу на інноваційну модель розвитку розглядається як важливий шлях підвищення конкурентоспроможності економіки; прискорення інноваційних процесів у країнах незалежно від рівня їх розвитку пов’язано з потужною інноваційною підтримкою держави, що ґрунтується на зростанні інвестицій в НДДКР і різного роду податкових та інших пільгах; динаміка інвестицій в НДДКР відображує активність окремих країн і регіонів у світовому інноваційному процесі. The article deals with Ukraine’s place in the modern global tendencies of R&D investing using the data provided by the experts of journal “R&D Magazine”, analysts of the independent international R&D specialized organization “Battelle” and Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS.
