This study aims therefore to investigate theoretical basics of creating specialized terminological electronic dictionaries since electronic dictionaries are the most convenient way for both professionals and linguists to learn, study, and use the language. The notion and main characteristics of electronic dictionaries were analyzed. Specifics of terminological dictionaries and their differences from learner’s dictionaries were described. Corpus-based approach was investigated as basis for the highest level of dictionary’s objectivity and representativeness.
