Визначено напрями розвитку систем електричного освітлення завдяки розширенню утилітарних та декоративних функцій електричного світла; створення світлових явищ засобами сучасних освітлювальних технологій.The process of creation and development of artificial illumination systems in the space of a traditional east Christian church as well as the significance and functions of electric illumination in the arrangement of lighting environment in modern church buildings have been studied.
