It provides a comprehensive research into lingual-and-pragmatic features of parliamentary debate as a specific genre of political discourse. The argumentative strategy is regarded as the central component of the communicative model of debate. It is implemented through a number of tactics. Communicative moves, linguistic and speech means of their realization are analyzed.
