    Cloud Key-Value Storage
(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2023-02-28) Pykulytsky, Oleh; Havano, Bohdan; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The paper represents all the stages of designing, architecting, and developing cloud-based key-value storage. This work aims to bring new approaches to distributed data systems. The authors focus on the security and productivity of the project as well as security and maintainability. The authors have studied the use of hash tables in a multithreaded environment. Architectural approaches and tools have been described. The general structure of the keyvalue storage server has been presented. The server algorithm has been presented. Our research delves into the intricate nuances of utilizing hash tables in a multithreaded environment, shedding light on the intricacies and challenges of managing concurrent access to keyvalue data structures. The authors have explored the tradeoffs between lock-free designs and traditional locking approaches.

Software system for monitoring the situation in the settlement
(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2022-06-06) Kundys, Serhii; Havano, Bohdan; Morozov, Mykola; Lviv Polytechnic National University; Technical University of Munich, Boltzmannstr
The goal of the work is to develop the software system of monitoring of a situation in the settlement. It consists of the user interface which is presented as a mobile application and the server. This paper describes the process of developing a client-server software system in stages using the latest technologies which will be relevant and easy to maintain in the future. The technologies used in the development process, the systems and modules which were integrated into the project, the main approaches to software development, as well as an explanation of why this particular stack of technologies was preferred for the implementation of this software system have been described. To make sure that developed mobile application meets common optimization requirements it has been tested for resources usage.

Assessing the human condition in medical cyber physical system based on microservice architecture
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2021) Havano, Bohdan; Morozov , Mykola; Lviv Polytechnic National University; Technical University of Munich
The goal of the work is to propose architectural and information model for assessing the human condition on the basis of microservice architecture in medical cyberphysical system, which, in contrast to the known models for assessing the human condition, can simultaneously provide scaling, fault tolerance and increase the speed of human condition assessment. The theoretical substantiation and the new decision of an actual scientific problem of development and research means of an estimation of a human condition in medical cyber-physical system have been considered. These means involve the parallel processing of data on vital signs of the human condition, organizing the means of information processing into separate independent logical elements – microservices, in comparison with other existing medical cyber-physical systems. An architectural model based on microservice architecture has been proposed.

Investigation of wireless pulse oximeters for smartphone-based remote monitoring of lung health
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Melnyk, Anatoliy; Morozov, Yuriy; Havano, Bohdan; Hupalo, Petro; Lviv Polytechnic National University; The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin
Coronavirus has the greatest effect on the human lungs. This is why lungs of patients with COVID 19 require constant medical monitoring. One of the tools for the lungs condition monitoring is based on the wireless pulse oximeters connected to smartphones. The re is an attempt to analyze the types of pulse oximeters, their technical characteristics, principles of operation and basic requirements for these measuring instruments in the article. According to this study, the most effective pulse oximeters for 24/7 monitoring of lung function were selected. Principles of pulse oximeter functioning and mathematical basis of its operation have been described. The criteria for pulse oximeter selection have been determined, and comparative analysis of pulse oximeters with wireless communication has been conducted.
