    Простежено процес формування суспільно-політичних поглядів Д. Паліїва на тлі соціально-економічного і політичного життя Східної Галичини початку ХХ ст., висвітлено його участь у бойових операціях Першої світової війни, військово-організаційну діяльність у період становлення Збройних сил ЗУНР і УНР 1918 – 1920 рр. In this article observes the process of the formation social and political views of D. Paliiva on the background of the social, economic and political life of the Western Ukraine in the first half of the XX century. The author describes his participation in the military actions during the Word War I, military activity during the period of the formation of Armed Forces WURP and UPR, 1918 – 1920.
