    Аналіз семантики біблеїзмів apple, bread та wine

    Semantic peculiarities of biblical vocabulary, which is used for denoting the name of food, such as bread, wine, and apple, are analyzed and systematized in the article. The review of scientific researches devoted to the topic, and the review of different dictionaries are presented. As a result, it is possible to study semantics and etymology of chosen words, and to shed the light on some biblical myths by proving their mistaken interpretations nowadays.
