Environmental impact of mining and chemical industry

The work is devoted to problems of environmental impact in mining and chemical industry. The purpose of the work is to evaluate the impact of mining activities on the environment. It is shown that mining activities have resulted in land degradation leading to limited land available for local population, the accumulation of large-tonnage wastes, the presence of contaminants in soil and water, distortion of terrain, activity of various geophysical processes.
Environmental problems of soils during the liquidation Rozdil State Mining and Chemical Enterprise «Sirka»

At this work is determined heavy metals composition in soils of Rozdil State Mining and Chemical Enterprise Sirka, which is included in a list of the top 100 companies for causing environmental pollution in Ukraine. It has not been working since 2001, since 2006 it has been subordinating the State Property Fund, it has been passed readjustment. This work has established qualitative and quantitative composition of chemical elements in the soils near tailing pond, phosphogypsum dump and place with tars, using spectral analysis method. Was determined amount of heavy metals, equal or exceed the maximum permissible concentration in soils, including: Mn, Ba, Sr, Cr.

Sustainable development of Stebnyk Mining Industrial Area (MIA) is due to low subsoil use culture, negative impact of mining activities on the environment. Potential danger in the territory of influence of the enterprise is created by underground mine workings which are the centers of formation of karsts, and also a tailings dam. Therefore, the development and application of phytomelioration technologies of the tailings pond to stabilize the environmental situation is relevant.
The methodology for design of informational and analytical system for environmental monitoring of mining and chemical enterprise in the liquidation

The impact of the mining and chemical enterprise on the state of pollution of the environment was assessed in the paper. The need to design an informational and analytical system for monitoring the territory of Rozdil state mining and chemical enterprise (SMCE) “Sirka” at the stage of the liquidation was proved. It was established that it is necessary to create an informational and analytical system of environmental monitoring, which will increase the ecological safety of the territory of the enterprise and the surrounding settlements.
