Item Cadmium electrochemical reduction in CdCl2 solutions in dimethylsulfoxide and morphology of cathode deposit(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2007) Kuntyi, Оrest; Bilan', Oleg; Yavorskyi, Viktor; Okhremchuk, YevhenCadmium reduction in solutions at steady-state and pulse electrolysis has been studied. It was established that polarization results in cadmium formation at potentials 1 V larger than equilibrium one. In 0.25-1.0 molar solutions of CdClP concentrated depolarization leads to removement of the beginning of cadmium reduction by 0.3 V. Photographs of SEM are presented and effect of electrolysis characteristics on the morphology of cathode deposit is shown. Item Electrochemical deposition of silver nanostructures from aqueous solutions in the presence of sodium polyacrylate(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Topchak, Roman; Okhremchuk, Yevhen; Kuntyi, OrestThe silver nanostructures obtaining was investigated by electrochemical deposition from aqueous solutions ((1…10) mM AgNO3 + 50 mМ NaPA) onto graphite substrate. The influence of the concentration of silver ions and cathodic potential values in the range E = -0,2 ... -1,0 V on surface filling degree and geometry of silver particles was (had been) studied. It is shown, the discrete silver particles ranging in size from 50 to 400 nm with a uniform distribution on the surface of the substrate are formed. It is established that decreasing of the concentration of silver ions and increasing of cathodic potential tends to reduce the particle size.
