Item Low phase noise push-push microstrip oscillator with third harmonic output on basis of SIW resonator(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Omelianenko, Mykhaylo; Tsvelykh, IvanThe results of the low phase noise microstrip oscillator design with 11.4 GHz output are presented in the paper. The oscillator is stabilized by the SIW resonator and performed in the push-push circuit. In contrast to traditional even harmonics output, the third harmonic output is used. This made it possible to suppress even harmonics in the oscillator branches, which contributed to the phase noise reduction. Phase noise of the designed oscillator is measured to be no more than -98 dBc/Hz, -115 dBc/Hz, and -132 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz offsets from carrier, respectively.Item Millimeter-wave integrated circuits based on novel probe microstrip line and coplanar stripline exciters(Видавництво Національного університету "Львівська політехніка", 2009) Iezhov, Oleksandr; Omelianenko, MykhayloNovel designs of compact integrated waveguide exciters of microstrip line and coplanar stipline are presented in the paper. An E-plane microstrip 0-π phase-shift modulator with independent p-i-n diode control networks has been designed at 24 GHz on the basis of proposed exciters. The total length of the integrated circuit substrate including exciters is no more than 0.62 of waveguide wavelength.
