Item Influence of fine-grinded glass additives on the induction and post-induction periods of portland cement hardening(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2014) Shevchenko, Viktor; Kotsay, GalynaThe investigation results of changes in cement grout observed during the induction and post-induction periods of hardening while adding fine-grinded glass additives are presented. It is assumed that glass introduction decreases pH of the system due to the chemical interaction with alkaline medium of the cement grout. The obtained results are important for the solving of the problem of glass wastes usage in the cement technology. Item Prospective of glass powder as active additive to Portland cement(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2015) Shevchenko, Viktor; Kotsay, GalynaThe usage of fine grinded silicate glass as an active additive to Portland cement has been considered in order to substitute neat cement in the cement composition, just as it is in EN 197-1 European standard by the example of active mineral additives of natural and artificial origin.
