M.; Ubizskii, S. B.The series of (LuBi)3Fe5O12 film were grown on (111) oriented GGG substrate with diameters 1, 2 and 3 inch by liquid phase epitaxy using Bi2O3-base flux. Different types of surface morphology on the grown films were observed. The films’ surface was smooth and mirror while the film thickness was less than 13 μm and becomes rough for thickness above this value. The grown films were characterized by measuring magnetization loops and magneto-optic Faraday rotation under magnetization reversal as well as ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). All films with mirror surface demonstrate the in-plane magnetization, high Faraday rotation and FMR linewidth about 0.8 Oe at 9.1 GHz and room temperature.Item Investigation of the chromium ions recharging kinetics in Cr,Mg:YAG epitaxial films during high-temperature annealing(Видавництво національного університету „Львівська політехніка”, 2009) Buryy, O.; Ubizskii, S.; Syvorotka, I. M.Absorption, emission spectra under UV and Xray excitations, as well as luminescence decay kinetics of GGG:Bi single crystalline films were studied. The emission spectra observed in the spectral region 350-700 nm at room temperature consist two elementary bands peaked at 446 and 521 nm. The influence of growth conditions on the optical-luminescent properties of GGG: Bi3+ garnet have been revealed. The ratio of the bands intensities in luminescence spectra under different types of excitation and their temperature dependencies were determined.Item Luminescent and Structural Studies of Y3Al5O12 Nanopowders Doped with Different Concentrations of Yb3+ Ions(2017-05-29) Syvorotka, I. А.; Ubizskii, S. B.; Syvorotka, I. I.; Shi., J.; Becker, K.-D.The optical absorption spectra of YAG:Cr,Mg and GGG:Cr,Mg films are studied at in-situ conditions during high-temperature annealing in oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The absorption spectra were measured in the range from 250 to 1500 nm at temperatures up to 1190 оС and the kinetics of absorption changes are registered at the wavelength of 450 nm. As it is shown, the oxidation of YAG:Cr,Mg films grown at low growth rates leads to increasing of the absorption in the visible region that caused by recharging of chromium ions, whereas the reduction of YAG:Cr,Mg films leads to the backward process. On the contrary, the reduction of GGG:Cr,Mg films increases their absorption, at that the kinetics of reduction has got the complicate, non-monotonous character. At sufficiently low temperatures (~ 800 оС) the oxidation leads to the opposite changes of the spectra of GGG:Cr,Mg films, however, at higher temperatures the changes of gas environment do not cause the noticeable changes of the spectra and the absorption remains at the sufficiently high level. The YAG:Cr,Mg film grown at higher growth rate demonstrates the behavior analogous to the one of GGG:Cr,Mg. Плівка YAG:Cr,Mg, синтезована при більшій швидкості, демонструє при відпалах поведінку, аналогічну до поведінки плівок GGG:Cr,Mg.Item Thick epitaxial YIG films with narrow FMR linewidth(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Syvorotka, I. I.; Syvorotka, I. M.; Ubizskii, S. B.The La-doped yttrium iron garnet (YIG) films with thickness up to 130 μm were grown by liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) method. All grown thick films demonstrate “mirror” and “striation” types of surface morphology that depend from film growth temperature and thickness. Addition of B2O3 is favourable to a change the surface morphology into a “mirror” one. The mechanisms of the morphological changes are discussed. It was found that the ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) linewidth appreciably depends from surface morphology of grown films. For thick films with “mirror” surface the FMR linewidth is less than 0.8 Oe and more than ten times less in comparison with films with “striation” surface.Item Ytterbium ions recharging processes in Yb:Y3Al5O12 single crystals and films(Видавництво національного університету “Львівська політехніка”, 2009) Martynyuk, N.
