Arc sprayed coating from cored wires in stainless steel shell have been developed and investigated.
Has been found that self fluxed addition to cored wires mixture has an positive influence up on coatings mechanical and especially corrosion properties. The results of our research show that arc sprayed coatings from cored wires Cr25B3Ti4Al and Cr26B3Ti3Ni3 have higher and up to 2 times wear resistance than galvanic chrome under the research condition with fixed abrasive.
