Особливості висвітлення російсько-української війни в закордонних ЗМІ

Abstract

Метою роботи є дослідити особливості формування контенту про російсько-українську війну у провідних зарубіжних медіа, зокрема CNN International та Fox News (США), BBC News та The Guardian (Велика Британія), Deutsche Welle (DW) та Der Spiegel (Німеччина), Polsat News та TVN24 (Польща). У роботі здійснено аналіз матеріалів провідних зарубіжних ЗМІ, зокрема BBC, CNN, The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde та інших. Визначено характерні риси подачі інформації, тематичні акценти, тональність та структурні особливості контенту. Особливу увагу приділено виявленню основних проблем у висвітленні війни, зокрема упередженості, використання пропагандистських технік, брак контексту або фактажу. Проаналізовано, як політична позиція держави впливає на інформаційне наповнення і фреймування новин. На основі отриманих результатів окреслено перспективи подальшого розвитку підходів до висвітлення воєнних конфліктів у зарубіжних медіа та визначено рекомендації для підвищення об’єктивності та професійних стандартів міжнародної журналістики.The aim of this thesis is to explore the specifics of content formation regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war in leading foreign media outlets, particularly CNN International and Fox News (USA), BBC News and The Guardian (United Kingdom), Deutsche Welle (DW) and Der Spiegel (Germany), Polsat News and TVN24 (Poland). The research includes an analysis of materials from prominent international media such as BBC, CNN, The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, among others. The study identifies key characteristics of news presentation, thematic focus, tone, and structural features of the content. Special attention is given to uncovering major issues in the coverage of the war, including bias, use of propaganda techniques, lack of context or factual accuracy. The analysis also examines how a country’s political stance influences the content and framing of news coverage. Based on the findings, the thesis outlines prospects for the development of approaches to covering armed conflicts in foreign media and provides recommendations aimed at enhancing objectivity and professional standards in international journalism.
