The subject is peculiarities, problems and style of writing on current affairs and editing of Vyacheslav Chornovil. The object is his publications, leading articles in newspapers “Ukrainsky visnik”. Promotion of an alternative information via self-published sources such as “Ukrainsky Visnyk” (Ukainian Herald) and reproduction of texts on shortwave radio was quite efficient. The specifics of dissident communication in Soviet Ukraine included the coverage of the whole state territory and provision of information abroad.
