Abstract

The thesis is dedicated to little research to professional competence of experts in journalism and media. The competent approach to the training of journalists includes the competences that meet the demands of modern society, the introduction of new information and communication technologies, platforms and a large number of communication channels. There is a need to study, besides traditional mass media, the functioning of other information and communication platforms such as multimedia, cross-media, trans-media, which is an actual and promising area of research.
