Item Aerated concrete with the use of ferruginous quartzite processing waste(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2020-10-10) Malovanyy, Myroslav; Ilyash, Oksana; Povzun, Oleksiy; Kalynychenko, Valeriy; Bylym, Ludmyla; Kasich, Vitaliy; Lviv Polytechnic National University; Yuri Kondratyuk National Polytechnic University of Poltava; Donetsk National Technical UniversityWaste (tailings) of mining and processing plants of Kryvbas were studied by the stages of their magnetic enrichment. The granulometric compositions of the tailings, the amount of iron (total and magnetic) and the mass fraction of solid in them are determined. The expediency of disposing of ferruginous quartzite waste at the first stage of enrichment as a silica component in cellular concretes is proved. Optimal compositions of aerated concrete mixtures are determined based on the following criteria: the average density of cellular concrete in the dry state and its compressive strength.Item Disposal of used forming mixtures from foundries of machine-building plants in the production of perforated material(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2022-03-01) Malovanyy, Myroslav; Ilyash, Oksana; Povzun, Oleksiy; Bylym, Ludmyla; Osinniy, Nikita; Lviv Polytechnic National University; National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”; Donetsk National Technical UniversityThe waste of foundries of machine-building plants - spent moulding mixtures was studied. The expediency of using spent mixtures of foundry production as a siliceous component of foam concrete mixtures has been proven. The spent mixtures were studied for their foaming ability. The foam properties are determined. The effect of concrete mixture components on the pore-forming ability of foam agents was investigated. Of the six foaming agents studied in the work, saponified tree resin was found to be the most effective. The technological parameters for the preparation of aerated concrete mixture have been developed. The average density of foam concrete in the dry state and its limit of compressive strength were used as criteria for resource evaluation of used moulding mixtures of foundry production. Foam concrete products of non-autoclave hardening with an average density of not less than 900 kg/ m3 and a compressive strength of not less than 4.5 MPa were obtained.Item Environmental and resource evaluation of smelter slag(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2020-02-10) Malovanyy, Myroslav; Ilyash, Oksana; Povzun, Oleksiy; Stepanets, Oleg; Serga, Tatiana; Gubar, Oksana; Serdyuk, Volodymyr; Lviv Polytechnic National University; Donetsk National Technical UniversityThe gross emission of harmful substances (dust) while unloading the smelter slag of PJSC “Mariupol Iron and Steel Works” into the waste heaps from the dump truck body and during their storage was calculated. The expediency of restoration of blast furnace slag as a siliceous component in cellular concrete was proved. The optimal compositions of cellular concrete mixtures (including the addition of TLS plasticizer – technical lignosulfonate) were determined based on the following criteria: average density of cellular concrete in the dry state and its compressive strength.
