The paper discusses the use of customer-centric approach in development and
further maintenance of commercial web-projects. The concepts of client and
customer-centricity were defined. Possible way of implementation of customercentric
approach was described.

Two criterias were proposed for the “first-glance” analysis of web-project success
probability. First one is the customer’s level of web-design knowledge. The second is the customer’s manner to interact with developer (named “constructivity”). Combinations of these criterias are discussed to understand the probability of project development success.
