A number of theoretical approaches are proposed to ensure research projects quality
management on the basis of self-organization of knowledge base in the corporate project
management information system. The authors proposed to analyze and transfer the
experience of successful commercial projects on research projects using modern
information technology and project management best practices, including the original
model of portfolio self-organization. This can significantly improve a quality management
of the research projects.
