The article analyzes the features of
rhetoric in the system of modern communication, it
is noted that during the informatization of society,
rhetoric acquired new aspects of development and
use. It has been noted that interest in oratorical art
in Ukraine has increased significantly, and
rhetorical skills and abilities are extremely
necessary to be developed and developed both in
general education schools and in higher education
institutions, taking into account the specifics of
communication of the information age.

The article outlines speech means of
influence and analyzes their role in public
speeches. The author gives the most common
rhetorical techniques and special techniques for
constructing speeches that can be manipulative in
a particular broadcasting situation and with certain intentions.
