The article is devoted to the creation of the
methodological basis for analysis systems engineering
of the the shopping cart’s content at the supermarket.
The designed system will provide the means
concerned with purchase planning of goods in order
to avoid financial damage and with the determination
of the most popular sets of goods, for further creation
of sales and the promotion of new products.
