The purpose of the article is to
substantiate the expediency of creating an archival
educational portal in Ukraine in order to increase
the professional level of archivists, teachers of
higher educational institutions and professional
communication space. The scientific novelty is the
target setting, since such an issue was not
considered in the Ukrainian scientific literature
before. The methodology of information-
communicative approach was utilized in the study.
The article analyzes the available online archive
space in Ukraine as compared to the International
French-language Archival Portal; and defines the
structure of the archival professional portal and its
role in creating the conditions for high-level
autonomous learning.
