The paper considers a new approach
to analyze dynamics of activity of educational web-
forums for HEI’s entrants. The characteristic of
thread activity is introduced for the forums that
represents current quantity of posts at each time
moment and quantity of posts caused the current
posts. The approach allows representing the
subsequent links between posts at web-forum’s
thread activity.
