    Jerzy Giedroyc – the Polish journalist and editor of the Parisian magazine "Culture" did not expect to create the complete large-scale picture of the political life of Poland, but in his journalistic writings published in various Polish media with touches – well-aimed estimated comparisons, arguments, suggestions – he marked points of reference of the Polish domestic and foreign policy. At those points he builds measurement scale – perspective scale of the development of Poland. A key element in the concept of a new political thought of the Gedroyts is is the assessment of historical acquisition that was inherited by Poland and Ukraine, upgrading views on the painful pages of the past that brings together Ukrainian and Polish peoples in need of realistic and modern accents.

    Медіавпливи на електоральні потреби виборців в Україні

    Main objective of the study is to analyze the activities and development tendencies of Ukrainian mass media on the eve of parliamentary elections of 2012. Methodology of the research is based on the use of historical and comparativehistorical method in the analysis of the political content in mass media. The effect of information heredity as a factor of election functioning the mass media, organization specialties of the mass media, the effect of political content carriers of the mass media, specialties of a particular mass media group activities are analyzed. The methodology for complex analysis of the mass media in election conditions is proposed.

    The essence of the fact phenomenon and its representation in the media is realized by the universal application of the factual principle of information presentation in the media. Factual principle is realized within the factual field, which is a set of information about changes in the social environment, the submission of which is integrated as lexical, grammatical, logical, stylistic ties, has the appropriate focus and pragmatic attitude. Application of the factual principle of information presentation is of particular relevance in the present conditions of global use of information space as a confrontation field of different models of modern development.
