    This article is dedicated to study of information system for the IT projects management. The main management problems and existing systems were explained. The main disadvantages and issues of them were defined during the research. The best practices of current applications have been analyzed and processed, the client-server architecture that uses a modular principle with independent completed components has been proposed as the best solution to solve the problem. The context diagram that describes the main requirements of the system has been designed.

    A number of theoretical approaches are proposed to ensure research projects quality management on the basis of self-organization of knowledge base in the corporate project management information system. The authors proposed to analyze and transfer the experience of successful commercial projects on research projects using modern information technology and project management best practices, including the original model of portfolio self-organization. This can significantly improve a quality management of the research projects.

    Класифікація замовників веб-проектів

    Two criterias were proposed for the “first-glance” analysis of web-project success probability. First one is the customer’s level of web-design knowledge. The second is the customer’s manner to interact with developer (named “constructivity”). Combinations of these criterias are discussed to understand the probability of project development success.
