    The paper considers a new approach to analyze dynamics of activity of educational web- forums for HEI’s entrants. The characteristic of thread activity is introduced for the forums that represents current quantity of posts at each time moment and quantity of posts caused the current posts. The approach allows representing the subsequent links between posts at web-forum’s thread activity.

    Активний характер соціокультурної комунікації в інформаційну добу

    The article deals with the problem of youth sociocultural communication in the information era. In the article the modern vectors of development of sociocultural communication conditioned by the current postmodern society were analyzed. The main challenges f information society such as domination of technical component in human life, the phenomena of cultural globalization and unification as a threat to the uniqueness of national cultures were characterized. The effective approaches and strategies, which enable active character of sociocultural communication of individual in present conditions, were researched. The necessity of assuring the active character of sociocultural communication through the implementation of dialog strategies, promoting integration, social consolidation of community was underlined. The importance of creating a sustainable motivation of the individual to effective cross-cultural communication on the basis of values was indicated.
