In this paper we present the results from our studies focused on wastes as alternative fuels co-processing in the cement industry and related with this environmental aspects. Obtained results show, that the use of alternative fuels offers new possibilities for lowering production costs via reduced fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions from cement production as well as decrease amount of wastes.
