    Testing of the Random Codes Generator of Embedded Crypto Protection System

    The goal of the publication is to test the random codes generator of the built-in crypto-protection system Following the list of critical technologies in the production of weapons field and military equipment (following the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 30.08.2017 No. 600-r), an embedded microcontroller system for the protection of information for on-board equipment has been developed. A valuable stage of the system introduction is its research and testing. One of the stages of testing is the verification of the generator of random codes to use for the generation of encryption keys and digital signatures. Based on the previous works and research of the Kalyna algorithm, methods and tools for creating a random code generator have been studied to use in the built-in cryptographic data protection system for data encryption/ decryption and for working with a digital signature. Means of checking generated random codes and comparing themwith existing counterparts have been developed. The purpose of this article is to check the generator of random codes before using it in the built-in information protection system.

    Experimental System and Software: Two-dimensional Return of the Platform to the Sound Source

    We created a system, debugged it, and conducted experimental studies of the two-dimensional rotation of the supporting platform (with a camera, and a light source.) On the source of sound waves. The system was assembled based on two SYNCO Mic-M3 cardioid condenser microphones and an Alesis IO-4 sound card. We wrote original software for analyzing and transmitting the result of processing harmonic acoustic signals for the response of the Arduino Uno control board. The rotation of the 2D platform is caused by two MG995 servos controlled by this microcontroller. We used a model of a serial COM port, which allows to send data received from the platform in the form of packets for processing by a portable personal computer. Based on the results of the experimental test and the basis of the literature data, a model of control of the two-dimensional platform of returning to the source of sound has been offered.

    Smart information board based on PSOC 6 MCU

    Nowadays, the development of electronics and related technologies is very fast. An extremely significant role in the life of moder society is took by information output devices, the development and modernization of which is an urgent task. Using the idea regarding wireless control of remote devices, an information board with remote control was developed. This article provides a reader with the development of universal information board which customers will be able to assemble for the dimensions that they need. The created device displays text news from websites, displays time and important messages. For the convenience of updating information and automation – the board should have WiFi with Internet connection. The information board is a great way to receive news quickly, without using other means to obtain information. The information board is designed on the CY8C624ABZI-D44 microcontroller. Also, important structural elements of this board are: buffer chip – SN74ALS244CN, LED matrix control chip – MAX7219, LED matrix – 1088AS and WiFi module – LBEE5KL1DX. The functional diagram of the module 1088AS and MAX7219 connected to PSoC 6 has been designed.

    Implementation Kalyna Algorithm in Microcontroller

    The information security is playing an increasingly important role nowadays. Therefore, virus can be transmitted through the information in encrypted form. This is also applied to embedded systems. In this regard, the article is assigned to the topic of cryptocurrency protection in embedded systems using the national Ukrainian standard Kalyna. To further explore the topic, this algorithm was implemented on a microcontroller to test the performance, convenience and prospects for usage in embedded systems.
