Розглянено проблематику генеалогії орнаменту як однієї з важливих ознак структурної
зміни в архітекутрі та інтер’єрному просторі. Висвітлено питання філософії формотворення орнаментики галицького митця М. Сосенка (1875–1920 рр.) в цьому контексті та теорії «нового орнаменту» в епоху цифрових технологій на тлі класичних форм психологічно-естетичного сприйняття, функціональності та призначення орнаменту. This article examines the genealogy of ornament as one of the important factors of the structural change in architecture and interior space. In this context, it raises the issue of the philosophy of the creation of the ornamental forms of M. Sosenko (1875–1920), a Halychyna-based artist as well as the theory of «new Ornamentation» in the digital technology era on the background
of classic forms of psychological and aesthetic perception, the functionality and designation of ornaments.
