The revealed educational content characterizes the motivational intentions of potential entrants, which is one of the factors of the choice of a higher education institution during the entry campaign. The material of the article contains criteria for the selection of open Webresources for the automated development of educational content and the main directions of its use. It is made up the analysis on the expediency of knowledge extraction from open texts for the content and encyclopedia quality evaluation.
