Sagaydachny; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe article provides the estimation of the influence of military activity on the environment at the international peacekeeping and security centre. The assessment was carried out by determining the value of the environmental risk of the military activity impact on the indicator species of animals listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine - white-tailed bald eagle and small snapper. It has been established that despite the exceeding contents of heavy metals in soils, the risk of deterioration of the health of birds feeding on the territory of the polygon is extremely small.Item Ways to minimize environmental hazards from pollution of the environment in the zone of influence of the Hrybovychi landfill(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2017-03-21) Malyovanyy, Myroslav; Sliusar, Vira; Sereda, Andriy; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe article analyzes the environmental risks of existing landfills in Ukraine (on the example of Hrybovytske landfill). The possible treatment technologies of the accumulated infiltrates were analysed and the successful application of infiltrates biological treatment technology in aerobic lagoons was confirmed.
