The change of pressure on sudden narrowing of a round pipe is better described by the
square-law in the formula (9) is determined. The linear dependence of inclination of a vector of
the average speed in section of entrance in sudden narrowing of a pipe (β) from the area of
ratio of circular section tubes (m) is offered.

In clause the results of research of the polyacrylamide additives influence on
the resistance factor of sudden narrowings in pipes at different ratio of diameters
are presented.
