Оскільки символ у своєму практичному застосуванні виховує у будівничого чутливість до формальної досконалості, гармонії та естетики змісту і сакральної заангажованості, то саме у знаково-символьному вираженні виявляється сакральна сутність храмових будівель.Item Символ VS образ: до питання термінологічної варіативності(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2016) Альбота, СоломіяУ статті розглянуто питання співвідношення понять символу й образу. Основну увагу звернено на тлумачення символу й образу в різних гуманітарних студіях, яке дозволяє виявити особливості цих термінів. Заналізовано терміни «символ» й «образ» у семіотиці та культурології. Виявлено взаємозв’язок термінів «художній образ» і «художній символ» у теорії літератури. Згідно з підходами до вивчення лінгвістичних термінів обґрунтовано їхню термінологічну варіативність. The article deals with the correlation between the notions of symbol and image. The main attention is paid to the interpretation of symbol and image in various areas of Humanities, which allows to reveal substantial features of these terms. The terms “symbol” and “image” in semiotics and cultural studies have been analyzed. The interrelation of the terms “artistic symbol” and “artistic image” in literary theory has been discovered. According to the approaches to the study of linguistic terms, their terminological variability is substantiated.Item Семіотичні аспекти логіки Степана Балея(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2014) Гончаренко, ОльгаВиявлено, що теоретико-методологічним підґрунтям логіки Балея є семіотична концепція філософії його вчителя – Казимежа Твардовського. Показано, що від Твардовськго Балей перейняв теорію знаку та метод семіотичного аналізу понять. Наведено приклад застосування Балеєм методу семіотичного аналізу понять у вирішенні проблеми особистості. In the Bailey’s work “About the performance and results”, a Kazimierz Twardowsky outlines a theory of symbol and meaning. Semiotic conception of Twardowsky philosophy has got a so kind of development in the works of his Ukrainian student – Stephan Balei. A sign system plays an essential role in the Balei’s logic, which can be treated as an extension of semiotic exploration of his teacher. Indicative in this respect is the work “The Logic Outline”. Bailey finds the notion of truth to be the subject of logic. The task of logic is to study the conditions, and the process of keeping these conditions leads a person to the true knowledge. The truth, according to Bailey, is a sign of judgment, the immediate reality of which is a language. The sentence is an external sign of judgment, and its actuality means the actuality of statement expressed by this sentence. Bailey defines an imagination as the basis of judgment. Bailey is a supporter of the idea of a common objects imagination existence. The general idea is specific while reflecting essential and non-essential features of an object, and is abstract while reflecting abstraction only by the essential features of the subject. General notions are important in human life because through them we can make judgments pointing at not only one subject but also at a group of objects. The general ideas through abstraction create conceptual apparatus of science. The scientist believes that the content of opinions exist with the act, which claims it. Therefore, the essence of judgment is shown in the fact of its existence. Thus, the theoretical foundation of Balei logic is correlation concept and objective judgment with their linguistic reality based on the theory of Twardowski signs. Baley’s understanding of a notion as an abstract idea, the definition of which is carried out by the method of semiotic analysis is a continuation of the Twardowsky ideas of philosophy semiotic conception. The development of Twardowskyi semiotics in “The Logic Essays” Baley is considered to be as a contribution to the theory of Ukrainian scientist logical understanding reality.Item Структура “архітектурного знака” та “архітектурного тексту” в семіотичному аналізі об’єктів історизму(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Лінда, С. М.Проаналізовано основні напрями інтерпретації поняття знака та тексту в семіотиці, а також запропоновано структуру знака та тексту (знакової системи) для аналізу об’єктів архітектури історизму з позицій архітектурної семіотики. Basic directions of interpretation of sign concept in a semiotics are analysed in the articles, and the structure of sign and sign system for the analysis of objects of historicism architecture from positions of architectural semiotics is also offered here.Item Етичний вимір у семіотиці(Видавництво Національного університету "Львівська політехніка", 2006) Домбровський, БорисАналізується зв’язок етики та семіотики. Встановлено, що етичні оцінки впливають на еволюцію знакових систем. Оскільки в етиці добро і зло не визначені остаточно, то пропонується асоціювати добро з дозволом, а зло – із забороною. З використання історичного підходу доведено, що до Різдва Христового будь-яка семіотична система виконувала роль заборони, а після – дозволу, зберігаючи кумулятивний ефект попереднього періоду. Підкреслено зв’язок між забороною як етичною категорією та негативним характером фундаментальних тверджень природознавства. Relationship of the ethics and semiotics is analysed in article. Becomes firmly established that ethical estimations influence upon evolution of the system of signs. Negatives affirmations of nature sciense corelationes wish ethical norms.Item Тлумачення терміна лінгвокультурний простір через призму лінгвосеміотики(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2010) Андрейчук, НадіяУ статті представлено аналіз тлумачення терміна лінгвокультурний простір через призму сучасних лінгвосеміотичних досліджень. Особливу увагу звернено на співвідношення цього поняття з лінгвосеміотичною категорією життєвого світу людини. Запропоноване визначення лінгвокультурного простору як інтерпретаційної моделі, котра дозволяє виявити структури смислу через динаміку мовних знаків і фігур означування. The article deals with the term lingual cultural space as it is treated in modern semiotic studies. Special attention has been paid to the relation of this notion to the lingual semiotic category of the man’s world of life.
