Хоча відбувся спад іноземних інвестицій в Україну, однак перспективи їх розвитку загалом обнадійливі. Для активізації іноземних інвестицій, крім припинення військових дій на Сході України, необхідно створити сприятливе бізнес-середовище для інвесторів, спростити процедури реєстрації та ведення бізнесу, скасувати застарілі регулятивні норми.Item Джерела надходження іноземної валюти в контексті забезпечення валютно-курсової стабільності в Україні(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2015) Ткач, С. В.Досліджено основні джерела надходження іноземної валюти в Україну. Проаналізовано переваги та недоліки кожного джерела для вітчизняної економіки. З’ясовано вплив валютних надходжень на стан платіжного балансу країни та динаміку валютного курсу національної грошової одиниці. Визначено, що в умовах складної політичної ситуації, яка склалася в Україні, проблема залучення іноземного капіталу надзвичайно загострилася. Обґрунтовано доцільність ефективнішого використання наявних джерел фінансового забезпечення валютно-курсової стабільності в Україні. In terms of the balance of payments deficit and a deep devaluation of the hryvnia, the problem of expansion the existing sources of foreign currency inflows in Ukraine’s economy has become relevant. Permanent excess of demand over supply of foreign currency in the domestic currency market in recent years has necessitated additional financial resources from abroad. In addition, revenues and effective use of foreign currency is not only essential for stabilizing the financial sector in the state, but is also a catalyst of market transformations in society, a prerequisite for innovation and development of socio-economic sphere in general. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the main sources of foreign currency inflows in the context of exchange rate stability in Ukraine. The study determined that the largest sources of foreign currency inflows in Ukraine are earnings from exports of goods and services, external loans, foreign investment, factor income from abroad and currency transfers. The analysis showed that over the past ten years the volume of receipts from the mentioned sources tended to increase. The exception is the crisis years, when, on the contrary, there was reduction in the flow of financial resources from abroad. The paper presents comparative analysis of selected indicators characterizing the extent of foreign currency inflows in Ukraine and other countries. It was determined that Ukraine, according to these indicators per capita, is significantly behind not only of developed markets, but also of the countries with transition economies. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that in a compicated political situation in Ukraine, attracting foreign capital from abroad is becoming significantly more difficult. The author demonstrated the impact of foreign currency earnings for the country’s balance of payments and exchange rate dynamics of the national currency. During the research of the main sources of foreign currency inflows, the dynamics of the gross external debt of Ukraine has been also analyzed. It was determined that its growth is due to the unbalanced state budget, the deficit of the trade balance and imbalance of the domestic currency market. In addition, the devaluation of the hryvnia has led to a rapid increase in gross external debt to GDP ratio and, consequently, exceeding a safe threshold. In a sharp reduction in foreign investment inflows, factor income and current transfers automatically transformed into one of the largest sources of foreign currency earnings to the country. Research has shown that Ukraine receives about 80 % of revenues in these channels from immigrants as payment for their work. Unlike investment resources, remittances are least dependent on critical processes and have a clear counter-cyclical nature of formation and functioning.Item Сутнісна характеристика інтернаціоналізації економіки України(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2014) Ільчук, П. Г.Визначено сутність категорії «інтернаціоналізація» у працях зарубіжних та українських вчених, запропоновано авторське трактування поняття «інтернаціоналізація» як «розширення та/або перенесення діяльності підприємства за межі ринку країни базування (національного) на закордонні ринки з врахуванням і адаптацією діяльності до умов господарювання на цих ринках». Проаналізовано сучасний стан та напрями співпраці України з іншими державами. Зокрема, розглянуто географічну структуру та динаміку зовнішньої торгівлі України товарами та послугами, кількість та географічне розташування представництв українських підприємств за кордоном, обсяги прямих інвестицій з України в економіку зарубіжних країн. Виявлено, що економіка України готова до ведення підприємницької діяльності на закордонних ринках, яка може мати такі прояви: експорт продукції; створення представництва (філії, відділення) на території іноземної держави; прямі інвестиції (акціонерний капітал) як джерело фінансування підприємств на цих ринках. In the current global economic system businesses normally operate in many geographic markets and therefore the study of the key problems of business internationalization, such as an enterprise entering a foreign market or foreign market presence activities is very relevant at the moment. In this article, we systematize different approaches used by international and local researchers to reveal the essence of “internationalization” category as well as their own definition of “internationalization”. We also examine actual status and the dynamics of internationalization of the Ukrainian economy. In our article, we analyze the current state and possible vectors of cooperation between Ukraine and other countries. In particular, we review the geographical structure and the dynamics of Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods and services, the number and geographical locations of the representative offices of Ukrainian companies abroad, the amounts of Ukrainian direct investments in the foreign economies. It appears, that Ukrainian economy is ready for entrepreneurial activity in foreign markets. First of all, it means an export of the goods produced in Ukraine, setting up the representative offices overseas, direct investments (share capital) as the enterprise finance source in the markets abroad. The investigation of the geographical structure of Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods and services reveals, that Ukrainian companies focused their activities (apart of the local market) on the three main geographical markets – European, Asian and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). First of all, this is explained by the geographical proximity of this markets to Ukraine. As for the Ukraine’s services export, the main importers are CIS and European countries followed by Asian and American regions. Hence, the enterprises working with services delivering expand to the foreign markets more actively. The systematization of the information concerning representative offices of Ukrainian companies abroad has shown their presence in five geographical regions: 1 in Africa, 4 in America, 13 in Asia, 15 in Europe and 134 in CIS countries. The geographical location of the highest fraction of the representative offices abroad coincides with the geographical regions where Ukraine exports most of the goods and services. This is explained by the mental and cultural connection of Ukraine with CIS countries, where Ukraine exports as much as 34,85% of goods and 41,25% of services. Based on the consolidated data concerning Ukrainian direct investments abroad, it was found out that 88,49 % of Ukrainian direct investments were placed in Cyprus. This fact confirms, first of all, the efforts to disguise the real profits of Ukrainian enterprises via collaboration with Cyprus offshore companies. One of the results of the undertaken research is the definition of the essence of “internationalization” category used by international and local researchers in their studies. Taking into consideration different approaches of international researchers and the necessity to adopt to the business conditions of foreign markets we propose author definition of the “internationalization” concept as the “expansion and/or the transfer of the entrepreneurial activities outside the national home market to the foreign markets taking into account and adopting activities to the business conditions in these markets”.Item Оцінка стану іноземних інвестицій економіки Вінницької області(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Леонтюк-Мельник, О. The article considers the role and features of foreign investment of the regions in globalized economic relations. The problem of effective funding of foreign investors of the priority sectors is highlighted according to the impact of transnational corporate affairs. The results of the assessment of foreign investments in Vinnytsia region are shown by major economic activities of enterprises.Item Умови залучення іноземних інвестицій на українські підприємства(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2012) Томич, П. М.Розглянуто поняття іноземних інвестицій та форми їх залучення на вітчизняних підприємствах. З метою підвищення результативності їх діяльності наголошено на необхідності залучення іноземних інвестицій та розглянуто законодавчу базу у цьому напрямі. In the article the notion of foreign investment, and forms of their attracting in domestic enterprises is considered. With the purpose of increase of effectiveness of their activity in the article the need to attract foreign investment is underlined and a legislative base is considered in this area.
