The data on the component composition of domestic waste typical for Ukrainian cities are generalized. The influence of the quality indicators of individual waste fractions on the further choice of operations and methods of household waste treatment within the framework of the waste management system is analyzed. О.; Сатін, І. В.Досліджено основні проблеми, що виникають у сфері поводження з фільтратом полігонів твердих побутових відходів. На основі даних про хімічний склад фільтрату обґрунтовано необхідність встановлення локальних систем очищення фільтрату на території полігону перед скиданням його в каналізаційну мережу та розроблено принципову схему очищення фільтрату на прикладі Львівського полігону. Запропоновано ряд заходів щодо оптимізації поводження з твердими побутовими відходами, які вирішують широкий спектр питань екологічного менеджменту. The basic problems arising in the management of the filtrate from municipal solid waste landfills were researched. Based on the chemical composition of the filtrate the necessity for local filtrate purification systems on the landfill’s territory before dumping it in the sewer network was substantiated and the principle scheme of filtrate purification by the example of Lviv landfill was developed in this article. A number of measures to optimize the management of municipal solid waste that solve a wide range of issues of environmental management was suggested.Item Проблеми очищення стічних вод від біогенних елементів та шляхи їх вирішення(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2016) Голець, Н. Перевищення концентрації цих елементів у водоймах спричиняє зменшення вмісту розчиненого кисню, токсичний вплив на риб, збільшення біообростань, що спричиняють корозію систем водопостачання, пришвидшений ріст водної біоти та фітопланктону, що безпосередньо впливає на погіршення якості води. Вивчено основні методи запобігання забрудненню водного басейну біогенними елементами стічних вод У місцях збору ТПВ, а також усебічного досліджено шляхи досягнення цієї мети. Nitrogen compounds are the main nutrients contained in wastewater. Excess concentrations of these elements in water causes a decrease in dissolved oxygen, toxic effects on fish, increase bio enmoss, that cause corrosion of water supplysystems, accelerated growth of phytoplankton and aquatic biota, which directly affects the deterioration of water quality. to prevent environmental hazards caused by water pollution. The state of landfills and waste dump sites in Vinnytsia region, existing MSW collection system (container availability) and waste transportation system (availability and frequency of transportation) in all districts of Vinnytsia region, legal framework in the field of solid waste management, the state of public awareness and public opinion on MSW management in Vinnytsia region are analyzed; recommendations for environmental safety of Vinnytsia region in the waste management sphere are given.Item Вплив природних умов розташування Грибовицького сміттєзвалища на поширення забруднень у гідросфері(Видавництво Національного університету «Львівська політехніка», 2015) Голець, Н. Ю.; Малик, Ю. О.Величезна кількість звалищ ТПВ в Україні не відповідають вимогам чинних нормативних документів, істотно забруднюючи довкілля, особливо внаслідок забруднення водної сфери. Природні умови району розміщення полігону твердих побутових відходів (ТПВ) відіграють важливу роль у накопиченні та поширенні забруднень. Показано вплив природних умов розташування сміттєзвалища на поширення забруднень у гідросфері. Грибовицьке сміттєзвалище розташоване у складних геоморфологічних, геологічних та гідрогеологічних умовах. Рельєф місцевості відіграє значну роль у поширенні забруднень. Це є ще одним підтвердженням необхідності впровадження прогресивних технічних рішень для попередження забруднення гідросфери дренажними водами Грибовицького звалища ТПВ. A vast number of MSW landfills in Ukraine do not meet the existing regulations. They play a significant negative role in the pollution of the environment, particularly through contamination of the water sector. The environmental conditions of the landfill location play an important role in the accumulation and spread of contaminants. The article demonstrates the influence of environmental conditions of the landfill location on spreading pollution in the hydrosphere. Hrybovychi landfill is located in the severe geomorphological, geological, and hydrogeological environment. Land configuration plays a significant role in the direction and intensity of the contamination spread. This is another proof of the need to introduce advanced technical solutions to prevent pollution of the hydrosphere by drainage water from Hrybovychi landfill.
