    Survey of driver’s functional state change, considering movement through mountain passes

    Зважаючи на статистику дорожньо-транспортних подій, основними їх причинами є порушення тих чи інших правил дорожнього руху. Але, зважаючи на певний досвід наукових досліджень у цій сфері, можна впевнено стверджувати, що основною причиною цих подій є неправильна оцінка дорожньої обстановки, і, відповідно, некоректна реакція з боку керуючої системи, тобто водія. Якість оцінки дорожньої обстановки може залежати від багатьох чинників, таких як кваліфікація водіїв, їхні навички, досвід роботи, час реакції та інші психофізіологічні фактори. Варто також окремо виділити функціональний стан як індикатор надійної роботи водіїв, оскільки від нього залежить не лише рівень втоми, але і динаміка її накопичення. Ці чинники впливають на якість і швидкість прийнятих рішень і є вирішальними аспектами оцінювання ризиків транспортного процесу, пов’язаних, власне, з чинником людини. У роботі проаналізовано технологічний процес вантажних перевезень з погляду його безпеки як для водія, так і для інших учасників дорожнього руху, а також третіх осіб та навколишнього середовища зокрема. Дослідження охоплює окрему тему особливостей дорожнього руху в гірських умовах, частково обмежених, зі значним регіональним контекстом, оскільки ці умови є особливими й унікальними для доріг, які проходять значними висотами відносно рівня моря. Завдання дослідження – вивчення зміни функціонального стану водіїв під час проходження складних ділянок гірських доріг на прикладі чотирьох досліджуваних маршрутів, які пролягають Українськими Карпатами. Очікувані результати досліджень – їх графічний аналіз, який допоможе визначити основні закономірності зміни функціонального стану водіїв залежно від складності маршруту. Також у дослідженні акцентовано на виявленні відносних значень показників функціонального стану водіїв, які прийнято вважати індикаторами їхньої надійної та безвідмовної роботи. Це дасть можливість детальніше оцінити маршрути перевезень та планувати періоди роботи і відпочинку водіїв вантажних автомобілів на заміських маршрутах.

    Change of car driver`s stress index during different periods of the day in urban traffic conditions

    Nowadays, the transport industry plays an important role in human well-being and the functioning of any settlement. Transport systems are involved in almost all areas of production and services. Therefore, any failure in its operation can lead to significant material costs. One of the most important such systems is “driver – vehicle – road – environment”. It should be noted, that the main link in it is “driver”. The correctness and duration of decision-making in different road situations depend on the driver`s functional state. This directly affects the level of traffic safety. Consequently, the tasks of modern transport research are the introduction of methods of the vehicle driver`s conditions monitoring and the detection of his fatigue in its early stages. That`s why the actuality of studying the human operator role in the transport process and the creation of modern means of driving assistance are increasing now.

    Changing of the bus driver`s functional state in city conditions

    The functioning of a modern city is impossible without a proper mode of public transport and its network. Parameters of this transport system influence on the functionality of all supply chain links, training specialists, ensuring proper communication between parts of the city, the level of traffic safety, etc. At the same time, all these figures depend also on bus drivers and their work. This is due to the fact that this “human factor” influences on the proper functioning of the public transport system. It should be noted, that one of the indicators that allow analyzing the readiness of the driver to fulfill his direct professional duties is the functional state of his body. Analysis of this indicator allows creating appropriate recommendations for bus driver`s schedules of work and rest. According to this, managers can create such working conditions for drivers that will reduce the likelihood of erroneous actions. It will allow reducing the likelihood of road accidents. That`s why the importance of researching human as an operator in the transport process is increasing every year.
