Abstract

The question on the perspective of the document of the new format, its positive and necessary character for the development of modern document studies is highlighted. The issue of different approaches to determining the content of the document and its volume is updated. The use of the latest information technologies has given birth to new terms and concepts, in particular new forms of documents with corresponding characteristics, which has led to many modern theoretical studies. Emphasis is placed on their expediency in the context of practical testing.
