Abstract
In this paper we performed a comparative analysis of hashing algorithms SHA-1, SHA-2, MD-5, RIPEMD, Keccak respecting a set of their basic operations. As an outcome of this analysis a qualitative and quantitative composition of elements of the multifunctional highperformance hashing processor for execution any of these algorithms is defined.
