dc.description.abstractThe article aims to analyze selected projects aimed at integrating society and creating a community. It was noted that the indicated activities are usually undertaken by libraries in cooperation with non-governmental organizations. The scope was limited to institutions operating in the city of Lublin. Due to the volume limitation, the work is of a review nature and presents the most important forms of activity. The work was based on materials from Lublin non-governmental organizations, which the author obtained during the preparation of her doctoral dissertation [Kamińska, 2024] and materials from the Human Library Poland.
