Abstract
This article examines the influence of various factors on the heat loss to the environment (q5 )of water boilers. These losses are the most undefined due to the difficulty of direct measurement and several methods of calculation. This paper describes calculation of this index and its reduction to standard conditions. Also, the results of experimental determination of losses to the environment for the boilers TVG-8 are shown.
