Abstract

The use of interactive teaching methods yielded positive results particularly in learning the history and culture of ancient Greece and Rome by students of "Museology and protection of cultural heritage" specialty. The use of interactive techniques and technologies in the classes on the history of ancient Greece and Rome helps to satisfy students’ requests at different directions and interests, to make a difficult course material easier to learn, increases students' interest in learning and cognitive activity. Interactive methods also allow rationalizing the form of complex subjects, terminological and factual overload of educational material on the history of antiquity.
