Abstract
The proposed method of calculating the efficiency of buses transmissions with wheel
formulas 4x2.2, 6x4.1 and 8x4.1 with different kinematic schemes. The analysis of the influence of
wheeled formulas and kinematic schemes of bus transmissions on their efficiency. It is shown that
city buses transmissions efficiency with the same dimensional parameters of the transverse section
of their bodies with a permissible maximum mass of 18,000 kg with the use of drive bridges
equipped with wheels with tires of the same size have larger values when applying the wheel
formulas 6x4.1 and 8x4.1.
