Abstract

The diverse range of sources are used in theses - Ukrainian as well as foreign ones, a certain number of them haven’t been researched yet. In particular, book collections of Kyiv and Lviv, Warsaw and Krakow, Wroclaw and Lyublin have been studied. The major of documents haven’t been published before. These editions contain tsar's deeds, orders to voevodes who were going to Ukraine, answers for letters and lists of voevodes, documents about the Ukrainian embassies in Moscow, letters of the Ukrainian starshytna, hetmen, fragments of their correspondence with the foreign leaders of the states and report of secret service agents.
